ISABC Team Leadership Program

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN — 2026–27 Team Leadership Program

Ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We are now accepting applications for 2026–27. To get started, scroll down to the bottom of the page for details on how to apply and to access the required application forms.

The program is designed to provide a robust, authentic training program to prepare and support prospective and practising team leaders in ISABC schools.

The target audience is those who are preparing for a middle leadership role or those who wish to refine their skills to a more substantive middle leadership role.

The programme will:

  • Be tailored to the professional learning needs of course participants and meet the needs of ISABC schools for improved professional development and succession planning
  • Focus on the high-level skills of leadership required in the independent school context
  • Enable participants to reflect on their own practice and learn alongside peers & experienced leaders
  • Provide an opportunity for a ‘Reflective Enquiry’ project interrogating the participant’s own leadership practices and change management
  • Support learning with relevant speakers drawn from ISABC schools and BC contexts

Further details of the program can be found here.

Example of Participant Work:
Alyshah Jiwa (Southridge School), a 2024–25 Team Leadership participant, created a poetic reflection for her final Reflective Inquiry project exploring how technology distances young people from nature, from themselves, their families, and their communities.
