On Friday 17th February 2023, the Independent Schools Association of BC is organizing an online conference, ‘Healing the land, healing the mind’, focusing on Indigenous education and elevating the conversation around mental health and wellness.  Parents and external schools are invited to join the conference to share in the learning.

The ISABC Pro-D Day is an opportunity for ISABC teachers and colleagues to get together to either share their learning or experience professional learning through workshop sessions. This is a chance for you to meet other ISABC independent school members and develop a vast network outside your school with like-minded colleagues from all over the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

The ISABC is grateful to work and serve on the unceded Coast Salish territory of the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations.  We express gratitude to these nations where we work for their stewardship of the land.  Our commitment as a guest on this land is to build strong relationships and gain the knowledge needed to support the growth and the preservation of Indigenous people’s values and to use our knowledge to share and educate the ISABC community.
