The 2025-26 faculty grid for this position is $73,263 to $112,656 based on years of experience and a Bachelor of Education. Faculty with a Masters will be paid at a higher range.

As our next Math & Science Learning Strategies Teacher, you’ll play a key role in helping students unlock their potential in a nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment.
Our teachers inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework — from the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Grades 6–10 to the Diploma Programme (DP) in Grades 11–12. With small class sizes, 2.5 hours of weekly collaborative planning, and a strong culture of innovation, you’ll have the time and tools to make a real difference in students’ lives.
What You’ll Do
- Provide targeted learning strategies support to help students strengthen their Math and Science (Physics or Chemistry) skills at the DP level.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to develop and monitor Student Support Plans (SSPs) and IEPs.
- Work within a Response to Intervention (RTI) model to track and enhance student progress.
- Coach and support teachers in implementing classroom-based strategies and interventions.
- Serve as a Homeroom Advisor for a group of approximately 12 students, fostering belonging and well-being.
- Collaborate with our Student Well-Being, Counselling, and Enriched Pathways teams to ensure coordinated, holistic support.
- Participate actively in co-curricular programming (clubs, athletics, outdoor education, etc.).

What You Bring
- A degree or diploma in Special Education (or willingness to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing learning support to adolescents.
- Experience supporting Math and Science learners in middle or upper school settings.
- Understanding of the IB philosophy and a passion for inclusive, inquiry-based education.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility to work and teach in British Columbia, Canada.
Preferred:
- Experience in an independent or IB World School.
- Background teaching DP/MYP Science or Mathematics.
- Enthusiasm for connecting with students beyond the classroom through co-curricular activities.

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience in accordance with BC labour laws and company policies.
