Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. What You’ll Bring

You will hold a valid BC teaching certificate and have experience teaching Art at the junior school level.  IB training and PYP experience is preferred but not required.  You will bring a passion for teaching visual arts in a joyful, inclusive, and developmentally responsive way for students from Pre-K to Grade 5. A creative and reflective educator, you value inquiry-based, process-focused learning and collaborate closely with classroom teachers to design meaningful, cross-curricular experiences that support student inquiry and self-expression. With a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional learning, you remain current in best practices in arts education and contribute to a vibrant learning environment where creativity, risk-taking, and confidence are nurtured in every child. Fostering a connection with local artists and promoting student art within the greater school and local community will be evident.

Compensation is determined by education and experience; the grid ranges from $69,823 – $113,008 and is subject to a 2026-2027 grid increase.
