Your Opportunity
Due to the popularity of these classed, this new part-time position at 9 hours per week delivers hands-on 3-D sculpture and woodworking instruction to Grades 9–12. You will create a safe, engaging studio environment where students explore functional and sculptural forms, master hand and machine tools, and learn techniques including joinery, soapstone carving, mold-making, and casting.

Qualifications & Experience
- Certified to teach sculpture and woodworking in BC, or eligible for a TRB Letter of Permission (we will gladly support the application process for qualified candidates requiring a Letter of Permission/Credit)
- Experience teaching Grades 9–12 in a high school or studio art environment
- Technical proficiency in shop safety, tool operation, joinery, carving, mold-making, casting, and finishing
Notes:
- Criminal Record Check clearance is required
- Must be legally and immediately entitled to work in Canada
- Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The annual salary range for certified BC teachers for this role is $20,405 to $32,205, based on years of experience. If you require a Letter of Permission, grid pay will apply as soon as it is granted.
