As a Senior Data Strategist, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology in the Information Technology department.
Your Purpose
The Senior Data Strategist plays a pivotal role in enabling informed decision-making and operational excellence through advanced analytics, full-stack application development, and system integrations. This role leads the day-to-day operation for enterprise data strategies, custom application development, and ensuring the effective, secure, and innovative use of data and AI across Brentwood College School.
Your Opportunity
You will be responsible for a wide range of high-level initiatives, including:
- Application Development: Architecting and maintaining a high-performance technology platform using full-stack technologies like PHP Laravel and React
- AI Governance: Serving as the product owner for AI initiatives and developing responsible use frameworks
- Data Compliance: Managing the Microsoft Purview environment and ensuring data practices align with privacy legislation
- Analytics & Training: Building insightful dashboards to empower leadership and designing training programs to foster digital literacy across the community
Our Senior Data Strategists are self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to maintaining technical currency in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience with technology and data-related initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in full-stack web development, RESTful API integration, and deep understanding of data governance and SQL optimization
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
