Our evening Custodians take a hands-on, positive, and proactive approach in their assigned tasks. To be successful in this role, you find satisfaction in cleaning and understand the importance of sanitization and disinfection. At Brentwood College School, the Hospitality Services department provides the cleaning services for the boarding houses, athletic facility, learning spaces, health centre, public buildings and satellite houses across our beautiful campus, to ensure a healthy environment for our students, staff & guests.
Your Opportunity:
We are hiring two positions starting at $23.75/hr. These are full-time positions with pension and benefits. A consistent schedule of 3:00 – 11:30 pm 5 days per week working Friday to Tuesday; however, based on operational needs or events, flexibility may be required. Custodians working evenings also receive a $1.00/hr shift premium.
Your Certificates and Experience:
- Previous housekeeping/custodian experience (hotel, restaurant or office building) is considered an asset, but not mandatory
- Experienced with the use of cleaning and sanitation products, procedures and techniques – desirable, but not required (will train)
- Working knowledge of common mechanized cleaning equipment is desirable
- WHMIS certification/training, is an asset but not required
- First Aid skills and/or certificates, considered assets but not required
