As part of the Campus Security team, you’ll be responsible for the protection of students, residents, staff and the property of Brentwood College School by patrolling designated areas, identifying, and reporting safety hazards as well as completing all reporting and check-ins.
Our Security team members understand their role as brand ambassadors and provide positive experiences to those who enjoy our campus. You will be required to provide excellent communication skills and friendly, professional support on an ongoing basis to all students, faculty and staff. You believe that it is important to ensure that all aspects of your work are in compliance with applicable policies and protocols, and you will enjoy working within and contributing to the School’s vibrant and respectful workplace culture.
Your Opportunity:
These are 30-hour-a-week positions with the opportunity for an additional scheduled or a call-in shift each week. Our Security Guards work 10-hour shifts covering 24/7/365 days. These positions will be assigned evening/night shifts. Those working the night shift will be a part of a team or 2 or 3 team members. Based on operational needs or special events, flexibility will be required, including weekends, days, evenings, nights and overtime. The wage is $24.06/hour.
Your Certificates and Experience:
- BC Security Worker License or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- First Aid and CPR certification is desirable
- Valid BC Driver’s license
