Chemistry and Science Teacher – 5-month LOA coverage

Your Opportunity:

Brentwood College School is seeking a passionate and engaging temporary part-time Science and Chemistry teacher. This temporary role is to cover a leave of absence of 5 months between November 12, 2025 and March 12, 2026. The position teaches 2 blocks of Chemistry 11 and 2 blocks of Science 10 within a 6-block rotation (8:15 to 1:15 Monday through Friday and 10:15 to 12:50 on Saturdays). This is a .727FTE position teaching approximately 78 days over 17 weeks.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.Ed or equivalent degree with certification to teach in BC
    Post-graduate degree considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Grade 9 -12 BC curriculum including AP Science Courses if applicable
  • Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning

  • Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record clearance within your teaching certification is a condition of initial and ongoing employment
