ISABC’s New Executive Coordinator: Jane Reitsma

The ISABC is excited to welcome Jane Reitsma, who will be covering Bonnie Fisher’s maternity leave as Executive Coordinator.  Jane comes to the ISABC from a community and international development education background. Jane received her Bachelor of Education degree at UBC with a focus on social justice. After spending time working for UBC, Jane created an international and Indigenous program for schools in collaboration with key partners locally and globally, including the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada. Jane has connections to the ISABC member schools dating back to her years as a student at Crofton House School. At UBC she placed international volunteers in our schools. In recent years, as a social entrepreneur, she arranged local Indigenous and international service learning programs for some ISABC schools. Her favourite countries to work in are Uganda, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Cambodia. She divides her time between the Sunshine Coast and the Lower Mainland and enjoys skiing with her children.  Please help us welcome Jane to the ISABC Community!  Jane can be reached at [email protected].
