Position Overview

The School Nurse will be responsible for implementing best practices to support the overall health and well-being of students from First Steps to Grade 12. As a key member of the Health and Wellness Team, this role will be responsible for providing health care and first aid services to our community, and will work collaboratively with teachers and other school personnel to support the delivery of programs that promote student health and well-being. What You’ll Bring

You will have a post-secondary degree in Nursing and be a member in good standing with the B.C. College of Nursing Professionals as a Registered Nurse. A minimum of five years experience in a public health and/or acute care setting is desired and experience in pediatrics or pediatric mental health and family systems application would be a strong asset.  Experience working in a school or boarding environment would also be considered a strong asset. The successful candidate must have a valid B.C. driver’s license and daily access to a personal vehicle.
