Our teachers introduce and implement learning within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. We are the only school in Victoria to offer this enriched, inquiry-based program. Every student is known and celebrated at GNS which comes through in our dedication to support and inspire student’s academic, co-curricular and personal growth through a high level of pastoral care. Our teachers are passionate educators who make an active contribution to our extensive co-curricular program, and participate fully in the culture of our independent school community.
What You’ll Bring
Candidates must possess ECE certification and knowledge of current educational trends in a Junior Kindergarten setting. Montessori and/or Reggio Emilia experience will be considered an asset. Experience and interest in weekly Nature School and knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be an asset. You will have a strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning approaches, possess a passion for innovation and creativity, and be highly reflective and committed to continuous professional growth and improvement. A strong aptitude in differentiated learning styles and a passion for educating the whole student is expected.
