Store Manager

Permanent, part-time position

Approx. 25 hours / week

(Potential for additional hours, full-time expected in Aug/Sept)

Position Overview:

The Store Manager is responsible for the operation and management of the School’s Gryphon Door, supplying uniforms, school supplies and other specialty items to GNS families and staff. The successful candidate will liaise with various stakeholders to develop and maintain our product lines and seek opportunities to grow the GNS brand in the community through new products and offerings. The Store Manager is an important member of our community who demonstrates an exceptionally high level of service to meet the needs of all stakeholders while ensuring fiscal responsibility to achieve and surpass the established goals and objectives of the department. What You’ll Bring

We are looking for a candidate with five years of retail management and customer service experience. A college diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.   You will be technically savvy and a quick study navigating the School’s point of sale and accounting software. A strong knowledge of purchasing, procurement and inventory control procedures, and business management theories and practices is expected. Preference will be given to candidates with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset.
