Administrative Assistant/Events Coordinator

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant/Events Coordinator is charged with providing administrative support to the Chief Advancement & Enrolment Officer.  In addition to administrative duties, this role will plan and execute a series of events and initiatives that support our Advancement and Admissions Departments in an effort to strategically engage GNS and the broader community.  Demonstrating initiative, a keen eye for detail and a desire to provide exemplary service to all stakeholders, this position develops strong professional relationships to effectively represent GNS.   For more details on this exciting opportunity, please visit the following link.

What You’ll Bring

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations and/or communications however, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  At least two years of experience working in a high volume administrative environment and a background executing events is desired. Excellent communication skills will be key to engage and make strong connections with a diverse group of people.  Experience working in an independent school environment or fundraising environment would be considered an asset.
