VP, Finance & Administration

VP, Finance & Administration

Fraser Academy is a North American leader in education for students with dyslexia. It serves a vital community need. Fraser Academy bridges gaps in the education system for the 20% of students with dyslexia and affects change in the broader system. Its independent day school program is renowned in North America and its outreach and teacher training programs have further positioned it as a leader internationally.

Community demand for its programs is such that Fraser Academy has ambitious plans to grow and become Canada’s Centre for Dyslexia. The growth strategy is founded in five pillar programs for students and teachers. In addition, a brand-new campus will be realized through a fundraising campaign underway.

This exciting growth requires a new finance & administration lead. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and leading all finance, HR, facilities and/or IT, this role ensures Fraser Academy’s sound financial and operational management and health.

The successful candidate is a finance professional in the not-for-profit or private sector working in a similar-sized or entrepreneurial organization who brings strong leadership, accounting, and business skills as well as a knack for process improvement.

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, this is a unique opportunity for an inspiring and entrepreneurial financial leader to play an influential role in a best-in-class organization driven by empowering students to reach their unique potential.
