St. John’s Senior School is seeking an outstanding newly graduated teacher who will be licensed by the Teacher Regulation Branch as of September 2021. 

Reporting to the Principal of the Senior School, the successful candidate will be directly involved in the academic programme of the Senior School: assisting experienced teachers in classrooms from Grade 6 to 12, covering classes and other support roles related to teaching and learning. In addition, there will be opportunities to coach athletics. The contract is for one year running from September 2021 to June 2022 and is non-renewable. 

In addition to the items mentioned above, ideal candidates must also be committed to ongoing professional growth, and be willing to work in a collaborative professional community. Experience in an independent school environment and familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Programmes would be considered assets.
