Junior School – Teacher Associate (1 year position)

St. John’s Junior School is seeking an outstanding newly graduated teacher who will be licensed by the Teacher Regulation Branch as of May 2021. Reporting to the Principal of the Junior School, the successful candidate will be directly involved in the academic programme of the Junior School: assisting experienced teachers in classrooms from Grades K to 5, covering classes and other support roles related to teaching and learning. Contracts are for one-year running August 30, 2021 to June 30, 2022 and are non-renewable.
In addition to the items mentioned above, ideal candidates must be committed to ongoing professional growth, and be willing to work in a collaborative professional community. Experience in an independent school environment and familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Programmes would be considered assets.
