St. George’s School (Saints) invites applications for the position of Senior School Principal. Saints is a university preparatory school for boys, located in Vancouver, B.C. It is ranked as one of the top schools in Canada and aspires to be one of the world’s finest schools for boys. It graduates approximately 160 students each year, with 100 percent attending post-secondary institutions (and over 30 percent attending American and international universities). Saints occupies two campuses located a couple of blocks apart, one serving the Junior School (Kindergarten to Grade 7) and the other housing the Senior School (Grades 8 to 12). Total enrolment is 1150, of which 775 are senior school students and 100 are boarders from over 16 countries.
The School is passionately committed to the ideals of boys’ education, as reflected in its Mission (“Building Fine Young Men, One Boy at a Time”) and its Vision (“Canada’s World School for Boys”). Reflecting the philosophy of developing the well-rounded boy, the School is strong in arts, athletics,

As a key leadership member reporting to the Deputy Head of School, the Principal will run the day-to-day operations of the Senior School, ensuring that all students are supervised in a safe and welcoming learning environment. They will work with over 100 faculty and staff to provide leadership regarding the School’s curriculum, procedural administration, scheduling, co-curricular activities, and emergency operations. The Principal serves as a role model and provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to all members of the senior school community – faculty, staff, and students – to
ensure a warm and caring environment and an optimal educational experience.
The new Senior School Principal will be a respected educational leader and a proven school administrator, preferably with a Master’s in Educational Administration or a related discipline, and with solid teaching and administrative experience at the secondary school level. The Principal will
have a passion for the education of high school boys, and will be a person of character, strong values, and integrity, with a style that allows them to connect with all members of the Saints community.
