Shawnigan Lake School is a leading independent co-educational boarding school for ages 12-18 (grades 8-12) on Canada’s beautiful west coast. Our world-class facilities situated on a stunning 270-acre campus include eleven boarding houses, a theatre, film lab, an observatory, salmon hatchery, rowing crew house on the lake, dance studio, state of the art Learning Commons and Library, recording studio, and robotics lab. ​JOB DESCRIPTION

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – NORTH AMERICAN BOARDERS

Shawnigan is always looking for diverse and ambitious administrators, and as part of our Strategic Plan Project Future, the Admissions team is expanding, and excited to invite applicants to join the team.

 

Reporting to, and working with the Executive Director of Admissions, the Associate Director (AD) of North American Boarders strategically plans and executes a North American boarding enrollment-strategy with corresponding enrollment targets that successfully cultivates and engages mission-appropriate North American families, ensures they understand the value-added of Shawnigan Lake School, and ultimately choose to enroll in the School’s North American boarding program.

 

The Associate Director North American Boarders will spend 20% – 30% of their time travelling, placing recruitment emphasis on North America, including Canada, BC (Kamloops, Smithers, Chilliwack, etc.), and more specifically, the Pacific West Coast of America (Seattle and California etc.).
