Are you ready to embark on a dynamic career supporting academic excellence? Brentwood College School seeks a dedicated full time Academic Office Administrative Assistant to join our Academics team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Academic Operations: Assist the Deputy Head – Academics with volunteer hours coordination, class coverage scheduling, resource ordering, and appointment management
  • Manage Special Events: Coordinate and attend end-of-year awards ceremonies and other academic events
  • Maintain Documentation: Assist the Academic Registrar with managing student files and documentation
  • University Counselling Support: Aid in scheduling appointments and managing documentation for the University Counselling Offic


What We’re Looking For:

Experience: 1-3 years in a professional office setting; educational experience preferred
Skills: Proficiency in data management systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suites
Attributes: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills are essential. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple projects with ease, even when faced with competing deadlines
Communication Skills: Your written and oral communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to connect with a wide range of individuals effectively possessing an approachable and collaborative working style
Tech Savvy: You’re comfortable with technology, particularly Google and Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Google Docs

Education / Experience:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience working in a professional office environment
  • Prior experience in an educational setting is advantageous
  • A college diploma in office administration or related field is considered an asset
