Over the past 18 years Aberdeen Hall has become a top level independent school that provides excellent academics and a strong character education to our diverse student population of 700 preschool to grade 12 children. Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Education and a British Columbia Teacher’s Certification or equivalent (required)
5+ years of school-based leadership experience (Principal, Vice Principal or Director)
10+ years of teaching experience in a K-Grade 12 classroom
A Master’s Degree in Education
Demonstrated alignment with Aberdeen Hall’s Mission and Vision and Strategic Plan
Possess natural leadership skills with a high level of initiative, energy and commitment
Proactive and innovative approach to solving problems
A deep understanding of, and passion for, student well-being, social emotional learning, and academic success
A team player who can relate well to colleagues, and inspire students and other adults in our community
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and administrative skills
A track record of successful team leadership and management.
