Educational Technology Coordinator

Aberdeen Hall Preparatory School has an opportunity in our Educational Technology Department for an ADST Teacher in September 2023. This role includes a teaching role within the Middle School with a focus on Media Arts (audio and video production) and ADST 10 Business with a focus on marketing.  It also includes a technology support role outside of the classroom where the successful candidate will work with students and teachers to support and integrate technology applications within the school. Other key responsibilities include:

Teaching a variety of ADST courses in the Senior School 
Working with and reporting to the Director of Educational Technology to facilitate technology integration with faculty and students.
General IT troubleshooting and support for students and employees such as computer troubleshooting,  managing Google Workspace for Education accounts and workflows, connecting to TV’s, printers, WiFi, etc.
Overseeing some of the AV needs around the school for class projects and school events.
Working with the ADST department to implement the planning of the new IDEA Lab that is set to open in January of 2024

Requirements

B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or equivalent
Experience in an Independent School (asset)
