Queen Margaret’s School is seeking a Senior STEM Teacher (Physics, Calculus, Engineering). This is a temporary contract for the period November 2, 2020 to June 30, 2021, and is replacement for a staff member who will be on leave.
This is a 0.80 FTE position.
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of both advanced mathematics and physics, and be able to deliver the core program requirements for respective grades and subjects. This teacher will also be able to inspire students and colleagues by integrating technologies across subject areas. Most of the curricular planning will have been completed, but the successful candidate must be able to guide students through the core curriculum to the end of the school year.
The candidate must possess or be eligible for Teacher Certification through the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch.
