Queen Margaret’s School is looking for a creative and proactive licensed ECE assistant to join our existing team of friendly, dynamic and professional ECE instructors for October 2023.

Our Preschool and Junior Kindergarten Programs offer children and their parents a unique educational and childcare opportunity within a small and personalized environment, where every child is valued for their unique identity.

Help to create a safe and nurturing classroom
Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a love of learning to the classroom
Model the core values of the school
Collaborate with peers to support a student-centered learning environment
Take an active part in all professional development activities, including staff meetings, as directed

Qualifications:

The following are requirements for this position:

Valid BC ECE Certification or Assistant License or working towards.
Experience working in child-care programs
Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience, sensitivity and awareness of working within a multi-cultural environment 
Standard First Aid or above.
